An illustrative workflow for keeping planning, design, and development connected around an approved demo.
Define the review
This illustrative example follows a team preparing a small set of content pages. The planner builds a connected demo so the reviewers can discuss the structure with realistic text in place.
The discussion focuses on what people need to find, what should be emphasized, and how the next page follows from the current one.
The reference stays shared, even when the work runs in parallel.
Make the handoff useful
After the layout is approved, the planner records the rules that are not visible in the demo. These include data fields, exceptional states, and the intended behavior at smaller widths.
Design and development receive the same approved demo and screen specification. Each discipline can then work from an explicit reference.
Keep changes visible
As the final visual design is completed, changes from the approved demo are collected by screen. That makes it easier to distinguish a visual refinement from a change to the agreed behavior.
This is a sample editorial scenario, not a published customer case study. Customer names and outcomes are intentionally omitted.
