What language do I write logic in?
Plain JavaScript, ES6 and later. Page-level code goes in the page's script window.
Which devices can I preview on?
Lucy Player runs on iOS, Android, Windows and macOS. On the same computer it connects automatically. Other devices connect with a QR code.
How do Figma designs come in?
Select a frame in the Figma to Lucy Studio plugin, click Copy Code, and paste it onto the canvas. Auto Layout becomes Row or Column. Text styles are imported separately.
How do I connect data and APIs?
Register an external API or real-time socket as a Data Provider. Responses fill a Data Set, and you bind widget properties to it by drag and drop.
Can I reuse components across screens?
Yes. Build a component master once and reuse it in many places. Edits to the master reach every instance, and each instance can override its own properties.
